Mertha Sari Bungalow & Tent space

Property is beautiful, the accommodation is absolutely worth the money! It’s spacious, a tv that works, nice terrace. Really nice restaurant down the road that we recommend!!!

Found mouse faeces in multiple areas of the room, asked staff if we could order food for a set time (within their breakfast times) food never arrived, had to reorder and was late for an excursion, the rooms are very thin walled so we heard everything our neighbours were saying etc, just pray it’s quiet or you have respectful neighbours! (Only one neighbour is possible). Staff were never around to order breakfast or dinner it seemed - lights were on but no one home!

I loved everything about this place. The staff were super friendly, especially Wayan. They go out of their way to help you. Just the best people. Wifi was great. The cottage was super comfy with cleanest sheets. The washroom was squeaky clean. The food at their restaurant was epic. The location is away from the market. In to the forest, which I love. 20 mins from the market .

The toilet needs renovation and to be cleaned properly. The shower was really rusty, next to the sink was a really old soap and a strange brush left. With some improvements it can be really good.

Lovely, friendly staff. Cosy bungalows. Really good breakfast - possibly the best nasi goerang we have eaten! Helped arrange scooters and taxis. Staff were willing to amend choices on the menu to cater for us being vegetarian - very kind and above what we would expect.

Bungalows were close together and not very soundproof. You could hear people talking on their phones if they were on their balcony. Not necessarily a problem if you are next to considerate people, but unfortunately we had a french guy next to us who thought a phone call at 12.30am was acceptable. Our room didn't have toilet roll or soap when we arrived - not a huge issue, but just checking on small things like this would make a difference.

I got this place via booking at a good deal, and I can not emphasize how happy I am , even though it was a 2 day 1 night stay here. This place is run by a small family, and you'll see them mending the restaurants and roaming around the place as well. It heartens us to come back after a scary night drive, and they will smile at us to welcome back. It feels like I'm coming back home after a long day 😊 Upon arriving, welcome drinks are given, which was great since the journey here is very long and hot from the harbour. We had some barley sweet drink that was very refreshing. 🍸 then we went to our rooms, which were humongous bungalows with beautiful balinese design. I never had a hotel toilet that was so big you can put a jacuzzi in there. Each room will have 2 bottles of water. We had free breakfast in our package, and it was a limited but sufficient choice of Indonesian breakfast and American breakfast. Juice or coffee. No refills. Enough to make you full! I had an American breakfast with mixed omelette and toast, whereas my partner had nasi goreng. I love this place and would come back again 😉😘

Do take note that no toiletries were given, and sometimes the liquid soaps are not refilled. Also, do take note that you're living in nature, so bugs and insects are normal. We heard frogs croaking as we fell asleep and woke up to roosters. So don't eat in your room maybe? Eat outside at the veranda and throw your trash properly.
