Stunning house, beautiful peaceful location like a retreat. Gorgeous big fireplace, lovely swimming pool. Mesmerising views. Woke up to birds pitched on our bedroom windowsill every morning

We loved it, some people might be upset by the TV not working or some chips in some of the cups and plates but such minor details meant nothing compared to the view and the pool and the peace and the beauty! Also the mountain pass track up to the property is so much fun to drive if you like extreme 4x4 driving- totally adds to the experience!

Kitchen lighting was poor

Things we liked: The view- its beautiful. Inside the house looked modern. That was it really, the place did not live up to the photos or expectations, very disappointing.

Wasps nest next to the pool which the owners deny is there. There are hundreds of wasps during our week at the property. You couldn't eat outside or sit outside in the sunshine as you were just attacked by wasps the moment you stepped out. we had to go out and leave the villa every day to get away from the wasps it was awful and ruined our stay here. They were nesting in some broken pool tiles along the edge of the pool. Other issues- the mugs had missing handles, cracks, chips etc. they just needed to be binned and some new ones. The baby cot was broken underneath, again just needs binning and a new one to replace it. We told the owner and they said the previous guests did it. Outside the house is like a building site- totally unsafe for children. There's broken old sun loungers, pallets, generally rubbish as soon as you step into the gates of the property. Weeds all down by the bottom pool. DOG POO! Dog poo all around the grounds and we didn't even have a dog with us. One time we went out the man had come to clean the pool, when we returned a massive dog poo was left right where we park the car- disgusting. The side of the house is a building site, a side room remains unfinished- really unsafe with kids again. The hammock cannot be used as the wood it hangs onto is incredibly wobbly and unsafe. The sofa inside was absolutely filthy, it had a throw on it to hide it but was gross. In the lounge on the wall is a live wired plug hanging off the wall with things plugged into it- again incredibly unsafe renting a property with live wires hanging out the wall. The toilet flush didn't work, you had to lift the cistern up to flush the toilet- ridiculous considering the price you are paying to sent the place, it also wobbled when you sat on it. Every room has pipes sticking out of the wall where you can trip over them, not sure if they were for radiators that have never been fitted but again so unsafe for elderly etc. We couldn't wait to leave!

If you're searching for a peaceful and picturesque escape, I wholeheartedly recommend this mountain retreat. The combination of stunning views, a well-maintained property, and a thoughtful host make it a truly unforgettable experience.
