B&B Il Porticciolo di Amalfi

Il panorama dalla stanza e dalla terrazza, la pulizia, la gentilezza del personale

Scale numerose e ripide per raggiungere la struttura. Del resto Amalfi è tutta così.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Everything was very clean, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the sea view was beautiful. The terrace where breakfast is served is absolutely stunning and makes the morning very special.

The hotel is located up a staircase, so if you have heavy luggage it might be better to hire someone to help carry it. For us it wasn’t a problem at all. Overall, a great experience and we would happily stay here again.

La chambre un peu chère pour 2 personnes, elle n’a pas grand chose de + que les autres sauf peut être la place autour du lit.

We came to Amalfi for a wedding at Anantara which turned out to be within walking distance of B&B Il Porticciolo! This location was great. The views were fantastic! The bonus was enjoying a great breakfast each morning on the roof of the building which overlooked the city and harbor. Mena was a terrific host and the staff was very friendly. We highly recommend this property and if our future travels bring us to Amalfi we would definitely stay here again!

Amalfi is a very hilly city. Make sure you are in good physical condition because there are many steps!

the view was excellent, the breakfast was not that great they provided only one serving of protein one egg for each person , there was no balcony at our room.

there are over 160 steps to go to the place , it was very difficult to go up and down everyday , also take our luggage's. I had informed the manager that i will be coming with my mom, she should have informed me of those stairs. It was also very difficult to find the location as it did not show the address properly.

The breakfast was lovely, especially as usually in italy the hostel or B&B breakfast consists of pastries, cold cuts maaaybe, and coffee, here there were actually eggs prepared for breakfast, also sort of capresse salad, and other things, quite nice. It's not that much of a big deal, but the difference to what most other places offer was significant. The ladies at the B&B were very helpfull with the check in and payment options The room was nice but the best part was the 180 view of the sea, port, islands, etc. and the terrace were we also took the breakfast. On sunny mornings it felt like pure dolce vita

Oh maaan was is tricky getting to the location. We weren't quite aware from the start how many steps there actually are from the main square up to the B&B. I though it was much closer to the sea level, but there are cca 240 steps, sometimes a bit steep, and with one piece of 20+ kg it was not a fun experience. The B&B recommended from the start we book a porter service, but we had to much confidence and no grasp of what we were getting into :( After that we found the shortcut that gets you to the sea level and the port much faster - only cca 50 stept this time but for that you do have to go along the road with the cars for a bit

Sehr schön gelegen mit wunderbarer Aussicht. Der Treppenaufstieg ist zwar etwas mühsam, aber es lohnt sich. Das Check in war kontaktlos, wurde aber von Mena via WhatsApp vorher sehr gut beschrieben. Das Zimmer ist praktisch und schön eingerichtet und das Bett ist bequem. Das Frühstück wird jeweils auf einer schönen Terrasse von Silvia serviert. Eine sehr sympathische Frau!
