Tsitsikamma on Sea Poolside Cabanas - they are not tents

Was over run by a party having a barbecue when we arrived. They did not end up staying overnight but made all unpleasantly loud for us and having purchased drinks at the bar we sought peace inside only to be informed we could not sit there as was for single use of lodge visitors. Blankets only provided in the tent no sheets. No form of lighting provided

Pool on the edge of the cliff was outstanding. Nice hosts, good relaxed vibes

Bed was very uncomfortable, ladies washroom wasn’t cleaned

There are for sure very positive things to point out: the amazing setting above the sea and the pool cascade.

The cabanas are absolutely not in shape. We got the feeling of being at a teenager camp where comfort and privacy is no topic. Overall the property must have been a place to go twenty years ago. Now there is only a sentimental notion left. We ordered breakfast at 8:00. We had to wait for more than two hours. Almost all guests complained and several filed complains.

The photos on the Booking.com website were taken when the place was brand new. The place is badly run down and facilities are in a poor condition. You have to pay R900 extra to get the pool heated which is the main attraction to this place which is in the bundus.
