Great hotel in a good location. The staff very helpful. Good dosa for breakfast. Room big and clean, great shower, great wifi.

Little elated response in stuffs

This hotel has potential, but it certainly does not live up to it. Pros: - Location quite central and walkable - Great vegetarian restaurant downstairs, breakfast here is included in room price - Good bed, room size ok Cons: - Room cleaning is dismal. There were hair in bed linen and on the floor, shelves were dusty, cups not clean. Bathroom was the worst. They obviously don't clean the toilet - previous customer had left without flushing. (Normally we'd have complained, but we had already settled into room before noticing, so just gritted our teeth...) There were clotted soaprests on the edge of the basin, and they were not removed during our stay. Soapholder was rusty, tiles stained. - The staff member who checked us in was very unfriendly. No smile, no "welcome", rather his behavior was next to hostile. Later I asked him if they had laundry service, and he said "no". I found this so odd (even very modest guesthouses have it) that I asked another staff member next day, and yes, they had even laundry bags, so it was just a normal service they offer! This is not the way to treat paying guests. - The sound insulation is poor. You hear next room doorbell like your own and people talking and moving. On top of this, there were some people blasting loud music and dancing in the hallway at least til 11 p.m., and the staff did nothing!

Great hotel. Immaculate with a very nice shower and bathroom. Would highly recommend.

Rooms off the lobby get a little residual noise, but nothing major.
