Snow Chalet - Ohakune Chalet

Great location and cosy little place. It was nice and warm when we arrived, Thank you. lots of hooks for skiing jackets in the hallway.

We arrived quite late It was not easily marked from the road that the house was tucked away in the deep driveway and there were many similar looking houses. But luckily all the lights were turned on. It would be good to have more glassware (1 wine glass) and proper soup bowls, the ones provided were tiny. We had to get more hangers to hang wet clothes in the laundry.

Can be littlr clean and not smelly

Really easy to access with the keybox and I liked the relaxed times for the checking in and checking out. The bachcare team were good on the phone before I arrived. Will definitely be going back though from the perspective of cost and the ease to get to the mountain.

The only thing I would mention as a negative is that were was a disused spa pool in the basement which would have been cool if it was plumbed in and clean etc.
