The host was very friendly and welcoming, whereas the house is divided into two floors, very warm and clean. Everything was good, the mattresses were comfortable and it's a quiet neighborhood. There's also a natural water source nearby straight from which we can fill water bottles. There's parking in front of the house. It was a very nice experience and cozy house.

It's nitpicking, and might be personal liking but the pillows could use being a tad taller.

This is definitely the most amazing stop during our 9-day trip in Italy, and this is the only stop I feel like writing a comment. Everything is simply unforgettable. We arrived late at night, but Stefano still waited for us with huge hospitality. He even helped us asking whether the restaurants were still open because we cannot speak Italian. For a senior man working so late is not trivial. I read other people's comments, and I agree on all the points such as comfortness, cleanness, spaciousness, modernness of the bathroom in an historic villa, etc. Everything positive. I just would like to add that from many details, Stefano and his wife as the designer of the interior, are really welcoming the guests. They not only provided the necessary stuffs, but also arranged them with care by think in advance how the guests would need them. For example, for the first time I saw that the clean bathroom towels were already hung there instead of being folded. I felt that they would like their guests to enjoy the maximum convenience during their stay. Even though we arrived late, Stefano still patiently demonstrated to us how to use the gas stove, even though it was really unlikely that we would need it. One would definitely feel welcome by being treated by him as well as by enjoying the interior design. Our daughter enjoyed her stay without willing to leave. I would provide my utmost recommendation to this villa. The only thing that was a bit regretful is that my wife could not enjoy very well despite such a nice villa, because she is allergic to the pollen and she sneezed a lot during her stay. But this further demonstrates that Stefano and his wife really decorate the villa with great beauty and sincerity. This was a great stay for us. I would very much like to come back again.

The appartement Casa Vacanze Ca' di Lucchini in the tiny village of San Benedetto is a genuine gem. In the family owned house from late 19 th century, Stefano and his family have refurbished the appartement to tip-top modern standard We felt at home imidiately. On our arrival we were very well received in a personal and friendly manner by the host, Stefano, and his grandson. All though he was short of english and we only knew a handful of Italian words, we managed to communicate very well. During the stay we also spoke to his wife and brother - all of them lovely and warm people. The appartement has a personal touch, and is beauitiful decorated with a mix of mordern art, cozy decoration and old antique furniture. It has enough space for a family, and it was spotless clean and very well equipped for a long stay. The beds were very good, and gave us good nights sleep. And to top it of, the value for money is outstanding. The village is some 15 minutes drive off the A1 from Fiernze to Bologna, but its more that worth a detour if you are looking for a stop over, or want a base for exploring the area. Highly recommended.

It is no washing machine on the premisses, but if you stay for a longer periode, the village has a laudry which will take care of your clothes in a very good manner.

Owner of appartaments spent some money for greetings bascket of fruits, candles, yogurts for each person in booking and bottle of aqua. Was coffee machine and tea in kitchen.

Stefano is a courteous host of the apartment. We contacted him in advance and arranged for a late check-in, which was not a problem at all. We reached the apartment by car, and although it involves navigating winding hilly roads after exiting the highway, it's manageable. Parking is available on the street in front of the entrance to the house, and there is plenty of space. The house is large, two-story, with all amenities and a beautiful interior. The kitchen is well-equipped with an electric stove, coffee machine, refrigerator, and more. Stefano left us a welcome dinner with yogurts, fruits, and water. Our family of 5 found the apartment spacious with plenty of room for everyone.

There were no drawbacks to our stay in this place. We would like to extend our stay in this apartment for a bit longer.

The place is very beautiful, clean and tidy and the hosts were exceptionally welcoming and dear! We had really a great time there and are happy to return. Did you know this house is almost 500 years old?

Stefano was so welcoming and attentive. The house is very charming, well decorated, totally clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. It was an excellent stay! We appreciated having fresh fruit on the table and water to welcome us, nice towels and modern bathroom, big primary bedroom, and Stefano’s kindness.
