GBWe were met at the farmhouse by Katie, and Fergus helped take our bags to the hut, he showed us how to operate the heating/ AC unit.. There was a property manual with instructions for the induction hob and other information, very useful. It was very warm and cosy with the log burner going. There is a fire pit outside with two deck chairs - perfect for stargazing. The shower is amazing! Maddoc's hut had all we needed for a peaceful stay.
No complaints - a headtorch or similar is essential if staying in the darker months! It is VERY dark with no nearby lights.
GBGBGBHalf was very helpful. He drove to the main road entrance so we could follow him down the track to the property. It was red warning weather and our phones were making a siren sound. He was very calm and assured us that the shepherd's hut would withstand the wind.

GBThe hut was absolutely beautiful, comfy and cosy with lots of thoughtful touches. The location is stunning, it couldn't have been better. The hosts were welcoming and helpful. I can't recommend Maddocs hut highly enough!

GBA delightful find, cozy, comfortable and beautifully kitted out. Perfect for a few days relaxing in Herefordshire. We particularly loved how comfy the bed was. The view from the hut was tranquil! Spend your evening taking it in whilst sitting round the fire pit.
