Relaxing Apartment, The Glen, Camps Bay with Plunge Pool

This is a lovely clean apartment that is very well equipped. The communication with the owner was good.

Unfortunately the only reason I booked this was for the pool but the outside area is very tired, broken tiles and decking and very overlooked by both apartments above. And the steps upto it, the first one is very steep. Also the plunge pool has no steps so we couldn't actually get in or out of it! I did complain and the owner suggested we use a chair! They did try and look for steps for us but said they couldn't find any. We had arrived on a Friday and it was peaceful over the weekend and we were out all day on the Monday but Tuesday I woke up for a day of sunbathing and sat outside to hear a load of kids screaming and bouncing a ball. Assumed it was the communal pool at the building but thought it seemed a lot of children - then when I stood up by the pool I realised the apartment was next to a primary school! To top it off they then started building work in the apartment next door. The owner did say they had told them to stop because it wasn't authorised but this was the final straw and we moved someone where else! It should be advertised that the pool does not have steps and note that it is near a school!

Very easy to get in touch with owners, very helpful and accommodative, very good location in camps bay, felt safe walking around, really peaceful quiet outside area with pool

The location of the apartment was to die for . . .

It is a very spacious apartment with everything you could need for your stay. Great outside space with a plunge pool. A short walk down to the bars and restaurants of Camps Bay and to some lovely beaches. Chelsea, our host, went above and beyond to help during our stay.
