Villas Zamna - Jungle Villas

Zeer mooie bungalows, relaxte sfeer, heerlijk ontbijt, dicht bij de minder toeristische stranden. Je hebt wel eigen vervoer nodig.

We logeerden met ons gezin van 4 in villa venado. De zetel die omgevormd wordt tot slaapbank is zeer klein. 2 volwassenen kunnen er niet in slapen. Mijn zonen zijn groter dan ik, we deelden dus het grote bed met 3.

L’endroit est très joli, la salle de bain est vraiment très jolie et le petit déjeuner est très bon et bien servi. Le personnel est agréable.

Malheureusement, la localisation ne permet pas de faire grand-chose une fois arrivée sur place, à part si vous avez une voiture et encore pour accéder à l’hôtel, la route est en mauvaise état. Je conseille cette destination pour un couple et pas plus de trois jours. C’est un endroit sympathique pour se détendre et être au calme mais pas pour faire grand-chose. La chambre manque également de luminosité et des notes un petit peu avec la salle de bain qui est vraiment très belle.

The property is absolutely gorgeous! The staff make everything convenient and provide all requests promptly. We stayed in the Mapache villa and having the indoor pool was nice to come back to after a day out in the sun. Breakfast each morning was delicious and fresh, we stayed long enough to try each menu item, and chefs kiss to each one! They really have everything you need here if you're looking for a relaxing stay.

The villas are about a 15 min drive from centro San Miguel. It doesn't seem far, but it is. Taxis were reluctant to bring as back during certain busy times. Keyla was fast to respond and provide driving services to town from the villas for a fair price, and when she wasn't available she made taxi arrangements. If you are confident driving around Cozumel definitely rent a vehicle which you can arrange through the villa. Last, being in the jungle you have to expect wildlife which comes with positive and negative aspects. There were ants in the bathroom and pool areas and if you keep all your food outside they will stay secluded to those areas for the most part. We did not complain as it was not a big deal, and understood it comes with the environment, just be sure to keep clean and properly store food stuffs.

The villa was nice and secluded, breakfast was excellent & communication with owners and staff was exceptional. If we had any questions or issues, it was addressed immediately.

There's not much to not like.

It was calm and beautiful. We loved being amongst the birds and feeling like we were secluded. The staff were incredibly attentive. It really made Cozumel even more wonderful. They have thought of everything. You will probably need a car.

We liked the location as we wanted to stay far away from crowd and big hotels. It was perfect, as very quiet and close to the east side of Cozumel that is the best. And the breakfests were amazing. We did not try dinners, but I am sure they were delicious, too. Bianca and Diana were the best. All communication was good and in English. Thank you so much! Muchas gracias :)

Our stay here was great, away from the hustle and bustle of the town, humberto arrange a scooter for us which was a great way to explore the island and worked great for us having it dropped and picked up. The breakfast was by far the best we had in Mexico made by Blanca, also Ricky was very welcoming to us when we arrived and helped us with anything we needed, we left something in the room when we checked out and Ricky made sure we were reunified with it by meeting us in town. A peaceful stay on the north side of the island, 20 mins scooter ride from town but great access to seeing the great coastline on the north side of the island.

Rural setting with beautiful landscaping. Spacious cottage with great shower. Comfortable place to relax. Enjoyed birding around the property and down the lane. Close to ruins.

Dog could be a nuisance. Property is pretty small and adjoining properties are in disrepair.

Very cute! The staff make this place, they have anything you need covered; food, transportation (vehicles to rent or taxi rides), activities etc, all taken care of and they are very responsive! The jungle gardens which you have breakfast at in the morning are very relaxing and a nice full breakfast is included.

The bed is on the harder side (I like a soft bed, if you like firm beds you’ll be happy). It is far out of the way (250 pesos one way to get into town or 700 pesos round trip to a beach close by, if using their taxi service), but this is not a major con bc you get more peace and quiet, just something to be aware of. They only clean the rooms every third day, unless you want to pay extra.
