Sk Grand Villa

I like this hotel and staff who work there. Employees are friendly, attentive and helpful in every way. Breakfast was also good.

Electric power outage was happening too often. Luckily, the electricity came back almost immediately all the time.

It was everything perfect, We came here already 3 times! The rooms are spacious and very clean, you have a back balcony too. The staff is very kind and helpful, and the SUNSET from the top floor is one of the best I have seen. It’s a quiet area but vey close to the visitor centre and Auroville. And Raj’s Kofe bar is just 5 min walk for a delicious breakfast!

This property is located in Auroville, very close to the visitor center, and was quiet and peaceful I came to stay for one night, but in this situation, I will stay for two more nights.

* The rooms are spotless and the beds were fresh and fluffy. *The front desk staff Mr.Dilip was helpful and went beyond to assist my expectations. * The villa was conveniently located within walking distance to the visitor centre of Auroville. *I also thank to the House keeping staff.

The view from the shared balcony was beautiful. I liked the modern & newly renovated rooms but I can see they are still making improvements. The traditional India breakfast was nice in the morning because there’s not many restaurants near the hotel.

My first night I was placed in a room that had a sewage smell coming from the bathroom. I had to request to be moved to another room the next day. Also, the constant noise of metal grinding from 9am - 5pm from the neighboring welding warehous next door & the honking for the road traffic st the front of the hotel. This property is located outside of Auroville & is not affiliated with them.

Property look newly renovated & if you have a balcony the view is beautiful. And the traditional Indian breakfast was good to have in the morning because there’s not many restaurants near the hotel.

There’s an odor in the bathroom. The loud noise of welding & construction from 9am to 5pm next door. Also, hearing the honking & traffic from the main road in front of the property. This property is outside on Auroville township & not affiliated with them.
