"Nice property in a lovely town."

It was clean, had everything you need and the top bedroom very comfortable.

The first floor bed(s) were uncomfortable with the edges of the mattresses digging in to you.

"An enjoyable short family break."

The house was small but very cosy. There are many bars/restaurants within a few minutes walk and of course, the views and history are second-to-none for a small town. For a short stay in the centre of Knaresborough it was perfectly placed.

Not moans but things to be aware of - Entrance is via the rear door and not the main street. The staircase is steep so if you have difficulty climbing it is not for you - there are toilets on the 1st and 2nd floor but a shower on the 2nd only. The long stay car park is 5-10 minutes walk but very cheap (short stay parking is closer).

The location was excellent.All pubs shops restaurants and historic attractions within easy walking. It would be ok to stay without a car as bus and train nearby. friendly host Julie was very helpful.

?maybe a few coat hooks for family winter kit!

"Cosy. Best suited to couples"

Host was friendly and the property was spotlessly clean. Beds very comfortable and front room was cosy. All utensils and appliances provided. Knaresborough town is beautiful and good train links to york.

Shower swung between scalding hot and freezing cold. The property has no parking and all nearby streets require parking zone badges which we weren't provided. Although I was aware there was no parking i didn't think it would be quite so far to park. As a blue badge holder this wasn't ideal. The pub next door also had a band on which went on way past midnight. The property is single glazed and therefore the noise traveled. Not ideal if you're travelling with children. A keysafe at the property to self check in would also be helpful.
