Great little apartment. Clean. Comfortable. Quiet.

The flat was quite clean.

Unfortunately our stay was very disappointing for a number of reasons which can be summed up in the misleading impression given by the beautiful photos: First of all, the flat looks much bigger in the photos. In reality it is very, I mean VERY small, bordering on claustrophobic. Secondly, the complex and the flat look nice and new, but in reality they are in desperate need of renovation. There are cracks and peeling paint and in general there is a feeling of neglect and disrepair in both the flat and the apartment building. In addition, some advertised things were not present, such as the slippers or the toaster that can be seen in the pics. It is also a shame that we were only provided with shower gel for one day, despite the fact that we had stayed for 11 days. When we pointed this out we were told that ‘this is not a hotel and that we could buy it in the nearby shop’. Furthermore, throughout our stay (11 days) the sheets were only changed once as a ‘favour’ and only because we insisted. This attitude on the part of the management can only be described as petty, especially after the not-so-cheap rate paid (about 150 EUR per night). Finally, the apartment building is inhabited exclusively by noisy and rude Russian families who permanently occupy the swimming pools making them virtually unusable. All in all, the stay at the Aristo Resort Surin Beach K5 was a very unpleasant and expensive mistake that we would have liked to avoid.

It was our first visit to Phuket and I am really happy that we chose this apartment, exactly what we needed. Fully equipped kitchen, super clean, comfortable bed. In the building 3 swimming pools, one of them on the roof top with view, and very nice gym. Amazing host, very attentive and helpful. I had a problem and I have got full support. Many thanks! all my questions about the area were answered very quickly.
