GBBeautiful house - clean with most things you'd need. Lovely area close to amenities and walks/park. Key box worked well. Close to indoor bowls centre. TV and shower great. Clear instructions in booklet. Hosts very friendly and helpful. Look forward to staying again.
Guests need to know that bathroom is downstairs incase someone has mobility problems. A rubber shower mat would be a great safety addition.
GBOur host was super fast to respond to any questions that we had which was wonderfully reassuring. The place was spotlessly clean. We had everything we needed for comfortable sleeps, hot showers, and making our breakfasts each morning. The location is close to the town centre but the street in which we were staying was peaceful and quiet. The icing on the cake was that there was a small car park opposite the house. All our needs were covered!
GBGBGBThe property was well appointed and clean. It has clearly been well taken care of. The kitchen is well equipped, having a separate freezer and fridge was an unexpected bonus. I loved it had an induction hob. The bathroom is lovely with a very spacious shower. Comfortable beds and rooms. Exactly what we were looking for.
Probably user error on our side, we couldn’t turn off the heating completely. It turned out to be a warm weekend, and it felt a waste! Really was the only negative I could find (and such a small point!)
GBThere is absolutely everything you would need here in a home away from home. The property is well presented and feels welcoming. Once the children got over the excitement everyone slept really well.
There were more spiders than I would have expected and I really don't like spiders.
GBThe property itself inside was nice and clean and good sized bedrooms. Kitchen was well equipped for what we needed and a nice sized dining room and table.
The stairs are very steep which we hadn’t realised and my elderly mum did struggle with them. The bathroom is also downstairs which wasn’t ideal and I thought these should be mentioned in the description. The lounge furniture wasn’t suitable for 5 adults so we couldn’t all sit together in that room. What was very disappointing was the outside area. Outside the back door and down the path to the ‘garden’ was littered with cigarette ends and clearly hadn’t been swept for months. The path and seating area was full of weeds and stinging nettles so not a pleasant setting, despite the lovely weather whilst we were there. It certainly wouldn’t be suitable for children to play in
