Good place to stay in the middle of everything

Location. The bed was amazing. The staff were nice and very helpful

Lage, großer Balkon, schöner Pool

It was in a great location. Clean and cleaned daily. There is the night market about 20 yards away and a artsy hawker type place on the road adjacent with a different singer every night. We saw it on our first night but didn’t find how to get in until our last night but it was a lovely area, clean and a great choice of food. There are little Tuk Tuk buses that take you to the other night market (Cicado) for 15 baht nearby too so cannot fault the location.

The Jacuzzi was rubbish but pool nice. Could do with a bit of a spruce up here and there and the pillows were hard although the gentleman did get me what he thought was a softer one but it wasn’t so did not sleep well. Not the fault of the hotel but our neighbours kept smoking cannabis outside on their balcony which instantly sent us inside as we could barely breathe out there.

Don't be put off by the scruffy reception - this seems to be serving two blocks and these rooms are in the newer, more modern place across the alley. I'd upgraded for my last few days travelling and the room was spacious and comfortable. Nice big balcony with views across the city. Comfy bed but hard Pillows. Quiet and good water, despite being on the 6th floor. Room serviced daily and basics like coffee and kettle provided.. Basically it did the job reasonably comfortably

It's not really a hotel in the sense that there's no reception or lounge or bar. So don't go expecting to meet fellow travellers. Air-con was noisy and seemed to have a rather random temperature control. It's an extra 10 mins walk away from the main bar/food district but close to the markets and the rail station - so think about what's important to you. And beware the 3% surcharge for paying by credit card.
