Amazing views, the kindest most helpful staff, great breakfast, walking to town but out of the loud part. We had a wonderful stay

It would have been nice to have AC but it doesn’t get too hot and had a fan

Nice view on Ella Rock and very good location. You can walk into the city centre. The room was good but the bathroom smelled bad and was constantly wet. Friendly and well-reachable host.

Not so much privacy only when curtains are closed. But then you miss the view.

Bugs in the room including cockroaches, urine smell like pillows that made us very uncomfortable to sleep, bathroom could be better organized.

This has to be the best homestay in Ella! The breathtaking views from the balcony are already worth a 10 star rating alone! We stayed in the deluxe room which seemed newly furnished and had everything we needed. We loved that they had a table and chairs for eating on the balcony as well as the comfiest beanbags for chilling with a view! We are both Vegan and the hosts happily made some nice options for breakfast for us no problem! There is a mini fridge in the room perfect for keeping some drinks and snacks cool as well as tea and coffee making stuff! The hosts are very friendly amd we're always happy to answer all of our many questions ;) They have a laundry service on site and can arrange a tuk tuk and other services easily. We loved our "cabin in the clouds" and would reccomend!!

Our stay was simply amazing! We checked out but decided to come back for another night as we had such a good experience! Also - we are vegan but they were happy to meet our needs when it comes to breakfast - it was SO good!! Thank you for having us!

The view from the second floor room was amazing. Nice staff, good breakfast and a comfortable bed. Good quiet location, 10min walk from town.

Ridge View Guest House is a beautiful accommodation in Ella. It is just a 10 min walk away from Ella town, ~20 min to Nine arches bridge and ~30min to little Adam’s Peak. The room we stayed was nice and clean, there was a ventilator and the beds had mosquito nets. The bathroom was clean as well. We even had some dishes in the room. The view from the terrace is beautiful, we enjoyed sitting there. The Sri Lankan breakfast was really good, we had fresh fruits, eggs and sri Lankan pancakes every morning. They always prepared breakfast at the time we wanted it. Everyone there was really friendly and helpful. Our ventilator broke down and they replaced it straight away. They also organized a driver for us to get to Mirissa. They also offer a laundry service and the price is okay.

The roads to Ella town has little or no light at night, but it was okay for us to walk it at night. They did our laundry, unfortunately some of the t-shirts smelled of smoke afterwards. But it's hard to say where it came from, as small fires were lit in the area from time to time.

We got an Upgrade for the room and had a spectacular view from it. Hosts were really friendly. Everything was clean and the breakfast was good. Great stay.

The owner was really nice and helpful. Nothing was too much. The room was comfortable and had amazing views. Easy walk into Ella centre, Little Adams Peak and the Nine Arches Bridge. Location was excellent.

A minor point, but something to either mop up after a shower, or a shower curtain. Or just remember not to wear socks 😊
