Peaceful place, very chill

The owner is the rudest person we encountered in Cambodia. He overbooked the hostel so I had to sleep in his room, which is not at all what I booked. I would have not had a problem with it but it was the most disgusting place I've ever seen, the place has not been cleaned in years. I've travelled in hostels in Tanzania and Africa in general and I've never seen that level of dirt. There were yellow and brown stains on the toilet and sink, there was trash under the bed, all kind of dust and dirt everywhere. I had to argue with the owner to have it cleaner and even after cleaning it was still the dirtiest place I've even seen. I'm used to do camping and hostels so I have very realistic expectations, but this place was really another level of nasty. There are also several big spiders in the rooms which the owner considers normal. I would seriously stay away at all cost. We also rented motorbikes from him at a very inflated price and had a couple of dinners, in the end we spent a lot of money and he had the courage to ask for 3% commission on credit card payments. Some people should not work in hospitality.

At the price you pay don't expect anything fancy. But really we liked everything. We booked trekking tour to the jungles for 4days, and it was amazing, we totally loved it. Owners are welcoming and helpful.
