Hotel is old but the unit was clean.

The unit is in Top of the Gulf. It's ran by an HOA. It is operated by a bunch of seniors that are way too strict and rigid. I took my family there for a two night stay and at the last minute my daughter's friend wanted to stay with us, making our party 5 instead of 4. We had 2 queen beds and a sofa. Plenty of room. After paying in full, and showing up at security with a party of 5 rather than 4- they told us we needed to find somewhere else to stay and no refund would be provided. Needless to stay- this was after driving 5 hours. Totally ridiculous. I wouldn't recommend this unit or condo to anyone. Also, both the elevators were down during our stay. Had to take stairs the entire trip AND the beds are like sleeping on a slab of concrete. Extremely uncomfortable. The hotel also has strict security regarding armbands. If you are caught without one they say it's a $100 fine yet if you say you lost one it's $20 replacement fee. All in all, everything is just rules rules rules. Did not make for a nice stay at all and the owners are extremely Rude.
