Good that each bedroom had an en- suite.

There was a musty smell when you entered the front door and in the sitting room. Upstairs in the first double room there was a very bad odor like stale water and we had to move out of that bedroom.

A group of us were going to a wedding in Brooklodge and this property was perfect for us to set up. It was only a 2 minute walk from the town that has a pub, shops, hairdresser etc and only a 7 minute drive to our venue. The property was clean and bedrooms were spacious with each having an ensuite. Great base to have if you're looking to explore the area.

The house can be noisy when the water is turned on but nothing unmanageable

Big house with a little garden for relatively small money (compared to some B&Bs where a double room did cost the same per night). Great place for a family to explore the Wicklow mountains but also not too far from the East coast and even Dublin.

Parts of the house are in need of renovation. We can confirm some other comments that the house (especially the ground floor with living room and kitchen) were quite cold, even in summer and turning up the heating didn't help much but made the upper floor quite hot.

Extractors and heaters didn’t work in bathrooms. Just opened the window as it was summer, could be a problem in cold weather
