Entire 2 Bedroom Cosy Flat Near City Centre

The property is clean and has all the amenities you need for a lovely chill night away with our two kids (11y/o and 3y/o) The property is far enough from the chaos that you can enjoy a peaceful night sleep while still being a stone through away so your not trekking to enjoy the city centre which is exactly what we wanted. We also had an unfortunate mishap while at the property where a piece of jewelry of sentimental value was left at the property in error and the host was extremely helpful. They located the item and had it posted free of charge back to us on tracked delivery (even when we offered to pay) which meant the world. It's nice to know there's still hosts there willing to go above and beyond. I would highly recommend! We will definitely be back. Thank you so much.

The beds were comfortable and the shower pressure was really good.

It was in need of a good clean - grime in corners and fridge shelves dirty and we noticed some bits of old food left behind by previous guests. Our biggest issue by far was the nightmare parking situation. The listing states “on-site parking” - my understanding of this is that there is a private parking spot but that is not the case. There were three different public parking options based on time of day. We arrived around 7pm, along with everyone else grabbing dinner. We had to park a ten min walk away at first, then wait 3 hours for the street to quiet down and even then we drove around the block three times. Then at 7am I had to get up early to move the car to the next appropriate parking spot. I felt misled by the parking stated on this listing and it’s really not a great place to stay if you need to park a car. Luckily we only had one night here and didn’t need to fluff around with the parking more.

While it had good facilities I.e nice shower, comfy bed Netflix there was potential for the property to do very well however property lacked finishing touches e.g not being able to lock flat door, cleaning wasn’t 100% mould in bathroom and small bed room. Things felt rushed

The location is bad. We did not feel safe in the neighbourhood.

The beds were comfy

The cleanliness was severely lacking unfortunately. Fridge dirty with half drunk milk left in it; oven dirty with burnt chips in. Both sofa and sofa bed were not fit for sitting on, and gave us all bad backs - only place to relax was in the beds or out of the property. Couldn’t put heating on - thermostat knobs removed and must be turned to zero. The number of stairs into the property is much greater and steeper than the pictures would have e you believe, with a wobbly bannister. Door into property directly onto the stairs and do not meet fire regs (an old wood door with glass panels). Rubbish piled up directly outside the property for whole duration of stay. If the sofa, sofa bed and front door were replaced, the predominance of what is left would be solved by good cleaning staff. Last two pictures of stairs as they are, versus the picture advertised. TV worked after a while, but we were locked out of using Netflix (other than a child’s default setting!).

The property was comfortable, cosy, and nicely set out. There was a lot of attention to detail and all needs thought of. It was clean and tidy and more than suitable for a family of 5. A lot of natural light and smelt lovely, too. Lovely and comfortable beds, including the sofa bed. The host had left eggs and water in the refrigerator, which was greatly appreciated ! Information from the host about parking was really helpful. Overall satisfied 9/10

It was a little noisy outside during the night because the property was situated behind takeaways. But windows could be closed. Other than that, nothing else.
