Parc21 Luxury Boutique Hotel

Location ok. Kitchen and washing machine good. Pool had a stink swamp smell and I believe not properly maintained to be safe for use. After swimming in the pool I experienced internal infection and a day in hospital. I regret swimming in the pool. Photos make the pool look good but I experienced smell from the water and bacteria / slime layer slippery steps. I believe the hotel response was very dishonest. Bad experience!

I had a bad experience when I stayed here 3 weeks in Jan 26. I booked this apartment for the pool as I like to swim. After the first couple of days of swimming in the pool I noticed a stinky swampy smell with the pool water, especially when in the water with nose above the water. Steps in the pool also felt slimy and were a bit slippery like growing bacteria. After a few days swimming I noticed my urethra had discomfort. At the end of the first week, I complained to reception that the pool water smelt dirty and slightly stinky like a swamp and the staff said would “check with maintenance”. A couple of days later the pool water seemed clean and more clear like the staff had treated the water. Then a week later the pool water seemed more dirty again, like they did not maintain the cleanliness of the water or have a regular cleaning and treatment schedule to ensure safe for use and fit for purpose. I had pain in my urethra and then more internal pain in my bowel area and lower back. Also had more frequent urination and urine odour. I had days of pain then went to hospital. I told the hospital I had been swimming in a pool that was '4 star' but not as well maintained as expected. I was diagnosed with an internal bacterial infection that had spread in my lower bowel and pelvic region. I was in pain for days and I spent a day in hospital and was prescribed antibiotics. The hotel has a legal duty of care to all users that facilitates including those the pool are safe and clean and hygienic and well maintained and fit for purpose. I believe they failed in this basic duty of care. At first the hotel mentioned maintaining better operational standards then changed their tune to denial. I tried to ask for a partial refund of 100 usd to cover travel to hospital and my antibiotics and inconvenience of day in hospital. They flatly refused to respond. I find this unethical and disappointing. A bad experience and bad for health. A very bad experience!

Very clean, modern, comfy bed, nice linens, good shower (but no shower curtain or door), safe and secure, friendly staff. Quiet.

Pool area is small. Studio space is limited but they have one BR larger units

Bardzo miła obsługa, pomocni młodzi ludzie . Apartament wygodny czysty i komfortowy . Dobra lokalizacja , fajny widok z balkonu . Wybrał bym ponownie rezerwację w tym objekcie.

Drobiazki, słabo wyposażony aneks kuchenny , może dla europejczyka :) musiałem kupić sobie mały garnek :) Aby przygotować sobie śniadanie trochę ciężko skompletować narzędzia kuchenne ale to nie tragedia ,

Decent sized apartment, pool with the city view

The mattress is very uncomfortable and the whole apartment stank of sewage throughout our stay, that was horrible.

Comfy beds and regular maid cleaning

Excellent stay in Phnom Penh. The residence was clean, quiet, and very comfortable. The staff were friendly and always helpful. The location is convenient, with easy access to restaurants and shops. Air conditioning and Wi-Fi worked perfectly, which was very important for me. I felt safe and relaxed during my entire stay. Highly recommended, I would definitely come back.
