Casa Gabry in Lone of Amalfi

La ubicacion es muy buena, con una vista excepcional a la bahia. Departamento muy comodo. Muy buen wifi.

La ducha es muy pequeña. El parking que nos consiguio la anfitriona estaba a 700 metros en subida, Con precios elevados

The property did meet my expansions. It was rather spacious, had all of the appliances I needed. The view of the sea and the Amalfi Coast is totally breathtaking. It took us about 30minutes to get to the fantastic Il Duoglio Spiaggia beach on foot (be ready to take about 800 steps down to enjoy the crystal clear water, fanatic Italian music on the beach). There was a bus stop 10steps away for our apartment so it was easy to get to Amalfi centre. I was totally happy I chose Casa Gabry for its picturesque views and a rather calm neighbourhood. There were 2 supermarkets not that far from the property on Monday we bumped into a car-market right in front of the apartment where yeah fruit and vegetables were sold. My separate gratitude goes to Antonietta who assisted with arranging the last minute transfer to the airport for us! I do recommend choosing Casa Gabry to enjoy the stay on Amalfi Coast.

The only drawback is the noise from the cafe nearby. Our bedroom window was right in front of it and on some days the walls were simply shaking from the evening parties at that cafe (on some days the music was pretty nice and I even enjoyed listening to it from the balcony but on others, it was really crazy). That is not the host’s are of responsibility though but maybe some arrangement with the cafe could be helpful (at least for the music volume after 22:00). From the guest’s perspective, I recommend taking some earplugs ;)

Purtroppo abbiamo trovato la casa invasa dalle formiche in cucina e in soggiorno. il bagno (cieco senza finestre) aveva un problema con la doccia e spesso non avevamo acqua calda. Tutti problemi segnalati alla proprietà. L’appartamento è vista golfo ma sprovvisto di balcone e la camera da letto è seminterrata con una piccola finestra a ribalta che da sulle scale pubbliche.

The experience was really good, we enjoyed the stay, Antonietta was exceptionally helpful in supporting us throughout our journey even there were some difficulties. the location was also nice with only few stops away from amalfi town and few stops for bus. the view from the balcony was also fantastic, it was great pleasure to wake up to a nice weather, sea and that view. will certainly miss the stay!

Our host was fantastic, very responsive and sent some very helpful information prior to our arrival. The location was great and while there was obviously a walk down to the village, it was very scenic and enjoyable. It would be challenging for some people so that should be noted.

The pictures were a bit deceptive, there wasn't a balcony, it was really just an extension of the lounge. The hot water more often than not didn't work and we ended up with showers that went from super hot to super cold. Suggest making rubbish bags available.

-Absolutely loved our stay here. The view is incredible. -The hostess is very approachable and kind with easy access through WhatsApp. -A nearby bus station with a very clear schedule. -The property literally has everything you need, including a functional kitchen and a washer/ dryer + ironing equipment. -The price is phenomenal given the location and view. -I would recommend staying in instead of jumping around the island, it's a lovely family owned property with an incredible view of the sea. You can go get some food from the coast and get back so you don't miss it! -Would absolutely come here again.

-The place is far from the coast and you'd need the bus to go up and down which limits your timing. However, the schedule lasts up till midnight most days and starts very early in the morning. -No nearby restaurants or markets, you'd need to buy what you need on your way back If you plan on spending the day in. -Some things get lost in translation, but the hosts arr gracious and very understanding.
