"Enjoyed our stay and all the basics were available."

8.0

The flat was clean and an easy-to-use shower with good hot water. It was also near the town centre. Owner responded to my queries quickly.

Unfortunately, being elderly, we found the stairs to the flat quite a challenge. Would have liked a tea-pot. Couldn't get the Wi-fi to work.

Nice apartment inside,I would definitely use this place again, the location met our needs.

Rubbish at the front door 3 black bags were a tripping hazard,we had to either move them or try to step over them on entering and exiting the property.

"Superb host, very central, ideal for a short break"

8.0

Flexibility and help rom host especially over a booking confusion!! He couldn't have been more accommodating or helpful. Parking is difficult to unload but we managed it, car park is 5 mins walk away. Its very central, pubs, restaurants, take away all just on door. Its up a we flghts of stairs so bear in mind, but self check in was dead easy. The apartment was ideal for a couple of nights, kitchen had all you needed for a short stay, Netflix on tv, free wifi, shower that worked and was hot.

Its a few stairs up to get in the apartment, no problem for us but there is no lift in case you need that.

"We where comfortable and had no real issues with anything. The staff was lovely."

8.0

It was fully equipped and central to attractions such as the harbour. The flat was clean. There are windows that can open to let fresh air in. Both bedroom and living rooms have heaters. There is a big fridge/freezer in the fully appointed kitchen. The management was very responsive to queries. It was quiet. There are lot’s of shops, restaurants and pubs nearby. We would recommend this place.

The range hood is not working. The stairs would not be suitable for older or impaired people, but that was mentioned in the blurb. The bathroom could use some towel rails.

"Overall a wonderful stay for a long weekend! Great value for money and would consider returning if visiting the Lake Dis"

9.0

- Good location within the Lake District to easily access places via car. - The facilities provided were all up to scratch. There was basic kitchen equipment to make meals along with cleaning supplies (sponges, washing up liquid kitchen towel etc) - The shower, though small, had great water pressure. - Comfortable bed and sofa to lounge. - A good amount of space for two. - A nice distance from local shops to stock up on food/supplies for the stay. - The host was responsive and clearly wanted us to have the most comfortable stay.

- The upstairs neighbours had been noisy, though we appreciate this isn’t something that can be helped, nor is it the fault of the host. - The toilet roll holder kept falling out of place, so we had found it easier to put the rolls at the back of the toilet. - Would’ve been nice to have had a drying rack to place wet dishes/cutlery after washing up.
