Old Genoa Rooms & Apartments

Good communication. Excellent apartment. Very clean. Good location.

The location was brilliant - we walked everywhere. Easy to get to from the station. I was really pleased to book the room with the roof terrace. There is a lovely view over part of the docks and swifts flew near at high speed. Whilst we never met Sonia, communication via WhatsApp was quick and easy. Despite the closeness to the front with its ridiculous elevated road, the apartment was quiet. You can buy food in nearby shops and Sonia was helpful with tips for shops and nearby eating places.

The building had scaffolding at the time of our visit. It wasn’t noisy but the view out of windows was compromised. The terrace wasn’t affected by this. The terrace is up an extra wooden stairway and we often ate up there though carrying the necessary items was a bit awkward.

A great historical building in a good condition. The apartment was nice, especially the living room with the ceiling about 5 metres high, fine pavement and a small balcony. Central location.

We would like to have duvet covers instead of sheets on just one side of the duvet.

The apartment was spotless and the facilities were excellent. It had everything you would need to make your stay very enjoyable. It was easy to check in and out and the host went above and beyond to make sure our stay was enjoyable. Would be happy to recommend to all.

The only thing I would note it if not used to it there is a bit of street noise at night. Nothing a good pair of earplugs couldn't fix. Just to note this is out of control of the host, but worth noting. Everything else was excellent.

Flat is in great place, but probably we expected a bit more from photos and it was not as cosy, as you would expect. Teracce is really nice, but all flat would need some refurbushing to make it more cosy. We had some mistunderstood with host in beginning, but later all was fine. You can't park car nearby, need to use paid parking, that might raise price of your stay.
