Bad! 3hrs we had to wait with no contact. So we had to camp out at McDonald’s until he answered the call.

The bedroom flooded in the night due to poor window installation, we had to move the sofa bed where the kids were staying as they would of got soaked.

My daughter was having an op at the woodthorpe hospital which was a 3 minute walk away so the location was perfect for us. The property is bright and airy and has 2 sitting rooms which was a nice touch. Very clean and tidy, plug sockets and mirrors in good places and a nice garden area to the rear with off road parking at the front in a really quiet road. Plenty of places to eat in and local takeaways. Excellent communication from the host throughout

There had been an unauthorised party just before our stay and there was some evidence of heavy use damage on the stairs and landing also the firesticks had been taken from the bedrooms which was annoying but not the owners fault. Ive only marked down the property to superb as we found it very cold, even though we tried to increase the temp the heating kept turning off. Would be lovely in summer but at least there were loads of throws provided to snuggle up in. There is a breakfast bar with 3 stools but given the house sleeps 5 it did seem to be lacking a dining table and chairs to seat everyone

The home was lovely, very clean and tidy. The jacuzzi is a nice touch too. The decor is beautiful. A few minor things that need fixing but still gorgeous. Would recommend for mature audience, not suitable for young adults.

I wasn’t a fan of how much the hosts were monitoring the activity of the home, it felt like an invasion of privacy. I understand that some people do not respect others homes but everyone deserves a fair chance and not to just be stereotyped. The host actually came to the home during our stay and later that evening called and texted. This raised my anxiety and I actually couldn’t relax for like a good 2 hours when I just wanted to enjoy relax and have fun with the girls for my birthday. I’d advised you give future bookings the benefit of the doubt and not be so overbearing. Takes away from what would have been a perfect stay.

We had no chance to try what we would like

Well, they shouldn't be available on booking.com. Their booking system doesn't register the bookings coming from this site. So when my husband arrived, it was full of other people. The host booked him a different room but they say they didn't realise there was a double booking. We booked this place for 2 different occasions during the booking.com black Friday. Now I am told that our other booking for April is double booked as well. If I didn't ask I would arrive at a fully occupied place again. When I voiced my concern that this is happening with both of our bookings because we booked when there was a deal I was told that they could have cancelled our booking refunded the money and let my husband wander around in the city to find a place to stay. If it was one booking I would say ok system error but when both of them are months apart from each other. I don't think I will ever try to book with them again. Fool me once.....

Good location, modern spacious property

Property too hot, heaters coming on despite thermostat being set to off. Also couldn't get tvs to load channels. I did send a message to the property about thus but never heard back.

It was spacious, well facilitated, modern decor and cosy with a homely feel.

That the jacuzzi had to be booked and paid for in addition to the original booking.

The house is spacious and comfortable and clean. The kitchen was well equipped and the addition of a second living space was very welcome. The beds were comfortable. The third bedroom is small, but perfectly adequate for a holiday home. The main two bedrooms are very spacious. The shower was hot and had good flow. The house is in a quiet road, with parking in the driveway. I would definitely stay here again.

The un carpeted stair case and a slight nasty smell in the bathroom and tv wouldn't work in the lounge
