Oak Crest, 2 bedrooms, log fire, scenic views near Chapel Down

From the start of our booking Kate was very clear with the information she provided and what to expect when we arrived. She was very accommodating with any requests we had and once settled in we were left to enjoy our stay. The property is a well equipped and kept to a high standard. The sheep, welcome card with bottle of bubbles along with the general quiet nature of the area all added to our stay.

Not negatives just some feedback: Although we didn't use the WiFi much, the password information could be clearer to make connecting easier - formatting changes or reducing the spaces in the key info would make it easier to understand. At times you could feel slightly overlooked in the dining area by dog walkers but this was easily overcome by lowering some blinds on the side of the property. A day/night blind could help protect privacy while not blocking light out.

This cottage was a very warm with radiators and an open fire. The kitchen was well equipped with an outlook onto paddocks. Parking is in view of the cottage. There is a convenience shop nearby in Rolvenden and a pub a very short stroll away. Our stay was relaxing and very comfortable.

The cottage was very clean and well equipped Kate had obviously put a lot of thought into making sure her guests had a pleasant stay.

We didn't know whether we were allowed to drive across the Green to unload the car but it would have been quite a long way to carry all our luggage.

What a beautiful hidden Gem, lovely comfortable homely stay. Perfect location for Vineyards, and the quaint village of Tenterden with all its amenities. The amazing Ewe and Lamb gastro is a 3 minute walk, very friendly and the food is amazing. beautiful peaceful location. a real treat.

Spotless well equipped comfortable. Ideally located for our short break. Felt very much like a home from home. A welcome bottle of wine in the fridge was a nice touch from the owners
