Villa DaVinci - Playa Blanca

Fantastic decor and furnishings. Beautiful pool. Spotless throughout. Lots of care taken to make this villa so good.

Perhaps a little screening from the road would be good. But this did not impact our holiday at all.

The Standard of the villa was superb like home from home

The villa next door has a raised sun deck, When you are sunbathing on the loungers the people in the next villa can easy stand there and look at you, If there was some screening this would stop anyone looking over.

Clean and very spacious. Beds were very comfortable. Towels provided

Late check out was arranged and then changed at 9pm the night before.

The villa was beautiful and had everything we needed. The rooms were spacious and the owners very helpful and quick to respond to any questions.

Nothing major but the lower floor living space was a little too warm in the evening - air con would have been great. The bedrooms and upstairs dining room all had air con.

Everything was fine

The villa is fantastic - well equipped with comfortable furnishings and modern decoration throughout. The villa is split level, with the top level where you enter the property. On this floor are two well equipped double bedrooms with excellent en suite bathrooms. There is also a well equipped kitchen with a huge fridge, dishwasher, kettle toaster and also a dining area (which leads out to the terrace / outdoor dining space) and steps down from here to the pool area. Downstairs is a massive living area with a range of seating and cosy areas to break out into. There is another lovely double bedroom, and although not with an ensuite, next to it is a huge bathroom with jacuzzi style bath and shower - so it's basically only for that double bedroom. The pool is heated and it really makes a difference for you to take a dip at any time, with really comfy loungers and open to the sun pretty much all day (but also able to shelter yourself if needed. There's ample parking for at least 2 cars which is gated off. The hosts were really friendly and were ready to meet us when we arrived with no issues. The villa is walkable to Playa Blanca centre (about 20odd mins) and the Marina (25-30mins) but it's also really easy to taxi it. It was no more than 6 Euros to Playa Blanca and 7 Euros to the Marina. The taxi service is really simple, there's just one number you call for all of Playa Blanca - and the taxi will come right to the villa which was a big help with a sprained ankle! I would highly recommend visiting and would encourage anyone looking to book Villa DaVinci!

We have been visiting Playa Blanca for 25 years and Villa DaVinci is one of the best villas we have stayed in. It is very large compared to most and incredibly well and stylishly furnished. The owners attention to detail is clear and there is every possible amenity/feature you could want. The quality of furniture is excellent, it was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The electric gate leads to ample parking and the pool was cleaned 3 times in the 11 nights we were there. The kitchen has every appliance/utensil imaginable, from a fruit juicer to filter coffee machine and much more. The downstairs living area is far larger than any other we have stayed in, and our daughter referred to it being like an apartment in its own right (and a huge one at that!). The raised patio area provides shade if you want it from all angles, the pool is a good size the sunbeds, patio table and chairs were all of good quality. The gardens are well kept and the villa is well shaded from the Lanzarote winds. There is even an exercise machine outside in the shade if you feel energetic! Wifi is available on 2 networks (due to the villa size) is accessible on both floors (40-65mb during our stay). We had a hire car for the duration and we'd recommend doing that because you are between Playa Blanca centre and Faro Park. You could certainly walk into town if you wanted to, or get a taxi, but it is a perfect villa for a car because of the gated private parking. Vistalobos is a complex of villas of various sizes and DaVinci is one of the largest located at the far end. It overlooks Avenido Faro Pechiguera. It is difficult to stress the quality of the villa compared to others in the area, even more expensive villas at Faro Park. We have stayed in 15+ and would say DaVinci is No.1 or 2.

There is some road noise as it sits just off the main road, and if it could be closer to the Faro Park end of Playa Blanca it would be perfect. We had a minor issue on two occasions with cars blocking the gates, but this wasn't the fault of the owner. It was maintenance/cleaning people and then guests at the villa next door and they moved their cars when asked. We would have liked the downstairs living area to have aircon (it is in the 3 bedrooms and upstairs dining area) but it can be kept reasonably cool if the downstairs bedroom door is left open (the downstairs area is massive with a very high ceiling (it is very impressive). An issue with one of the bedroom aircon units not functioning was resolved within 48 hrs through the installation of a completely new unit and the owner was very helpful. However, these are small elements and would not stop us staying again - the villa quality cannot be underestimated, it is excellent in all respects.
