Komandoo Island Resort & Spa

The Buffet was sensational, every meal...breakfast, lunch and dinner. The beach was clean and beautiful. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The bar area with live entertainment was very inviting.

The choices available at the Aqua Restaurant were very limited. Would have like more choice.

Komandoo is a beautiful island with wonderful Champions looking after your every need. The buffet breakfast and dinner is everything you would want and more. The choice of food is excellent and caters for all tastes. All the food is freshly prepared to a very high standard.

There is nothing negative to say about Komandoo.

Komandoo is the best destination for honeymooners that you can imagine. Boutique, tinny, romantic, adult-only island to walk barefoot, bunch of activities to do, so you won't get bored, beautiful house reef and delicious food. Everyone from the crew is happy and always smiling, I'd rate service 12/10. The crew is very personal and talkative. My wife's curling iron stopped working, I asked our host if there was any way to organize another one, and they sent someone to the opposite island to buy it for us. We have visited 40 countries and normally are not considering coming back to the same places, but for this resort we will make the exception. See you soon Komandoo!

You could hear the music from the opposite island late at night but there is nothing that Komandoo can do with that. However, in our 7-days stay it happened once.

Accommodations were excellent. Food was better than I was expecting for the islands. Staff was attentive.

Nothing.

Everything was tastefully done, from the rooms, food & activities. Staff were so friendly, and we met most of the managers as they moved around checking that the staff and guests were all happy. The food was an absolute dining pleasure, 3 times a day, and a varied, beautiful spread every time - perfect! All the staff were attentive and polite. Thanks Biji from the bar for helping us try new things. Housekeeping were efficient, Hassim was a ninja. Special thanks to Adhil & Niru, in the front office, who helped us with a family emergency. We had to leave 2 days early, but aim to return, it was just so beautiful.

Too short a stay!

Excellent romantic getaway. Quite peaceful and totally relaxing. However I would have enjoyed an occasional entertainment of some sort. All in all quite good

Food selection was really ok, not amazing.

Staff, layout, reef, fish, seaplane journey, hearing distant call to prayer on breeze, sunset, proximity of doctor, absence of motor sport, flexibility of snorkelling instructors, occasional bird life, attitude to environment. A basic cabin on sunset side with view to distant inhabited island suited us well.

Making it clear you could ask for an introduction to snorkelling and the reef on arrival even if not on schedule.
