There was a leak in the ceiling from the bathroom on the floor above it. The cold water faucets weren’t functioning, and the windows weren’t functioning. The property is very old and needs some major repairs/updating.
USCentral Park Bed & Breakfast has a really fun aesthetic and it's clear a lot of care has been put into the thoughtful decoration of the entire house. The breakfast service was also wonderful. The staff and other guests were friendly and the food was great! It was a set menu with inventive breakfast twists, and the staff accommodated for dietary restrictions. It's also in a nice location just across from the park and down the street from nice coffee options.
Where the B&B fell short for us was the room we stayed in which was not quiet or dark enough for a good night's sleep. We were also not greeted by anyone at check-in and never heard from anyone in response to questions except the breakfast staff. It would be great to see more staff working to match the B&B's cozy charm with hospitality the way the breakfast staff do. We stayed in the Park Side suite, and while the decoration is thorough and thoughtful, there is a loud A/C machine in the closet that made it hard to sleep in addition to hearing an adjacent rooms television through the ventilation duct. Additionally, interior windows to the hallway and exterior windows to the street can't be fully blocked so the room was fairly bright at night.
Lovely B&B, great host, great location, outstanding breakfast. Parking was on site. Would definately stay there again if in the Louisville area.

USLoved Everything! It was GORGEOUS, felt like you stepped back in time, the bed was comfortable and the shower had fabulous water pressure! The old Louisville area was scenic and this particular bed and breakfast is located right across from Central Park and we walked around 3rd and 4th street which has amazing architecture. The owners were SO welcoming and the breakfast was delicious. The owner took pride in the fact that they cook the breakfast every morning with all organic and home grown ingredients. You won’t regret staying here!

The Central Park B & B was wonderful! Thomas & Grace are outstanding hosts! They responded quickly to our questions! We loved the furnitue, stained glass windows, the baby grand piano, beautiful banister and staircases. Our room was elegantly cozy! Breakfast was phenomenal and we got to chat with new friends from Scotland! This is a must stay!!
USThe location is across from a quiet park. Easy on street parking. Beautiful, well maintained victorian architecture. Immaculately clean interior with beautiful antique furniture throughout. Delicious homemade cookies with an extensive selection of tea and coffee. Proprietors were on site welcoming guests and tending to our every need!
Some of the fixtures were tired in the bathrooms, but still in working order.
USLocation in Old Louisville across from Central Park was perfect. Our hosts Viji and Thomas were outstanding in so many ways. They like people, and devote much energy toward accommodating their guests. They are interesting to chat with, and really leave an impression. The breakfasts go well beyond the standard fare at most B and B’s. The food is substantial—you won’t have to eat again for a while. It is gourmet—tasty, healthy, and unique. Someone explained to us every morning how the meal was made along with the ingredients. The mansion is beautiful and historic. Our hosts go out of their way for guests. For example, they left a box breakfast for us when we left for the airport at 4:00 am. That was a first for me.
Very, very minor things. Bathtub/shower was awkward for me as a senior. More or larger trash baskets would have been nice. Decaf coffee to use with the Keurig….
