Bed was comfortable

No TV , Bugs all over the ceiling of the hallway, not a nice thing to see upon arrival

Very clean and comfortable. Had the top floor to myself and had privacy. Host was very helpful and courteous. It exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend

Dog next door kept barking a lot of the night , no hot water for a shower in the morning

The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful and accommodating. Easily found using Google maps. As we were only staying one night for attending a local wedding it served our purpose

While I was aware that the room was not en suite, this turned out to be a bit of an inconvenience. Probably more our problem as we are in our 60s.

The bed was small, the room was fine. However, the shower was cold, the wifi information in the room was incorrect. The main reason for the negative review though is the key safety issue. I locked the door and took the key to the front door out with me, my wife stayed as she was sleeping. The key fell out of my pockets during a run. The owner was 3 hours away at work with the only other key. There was no spare anywhere near the property. The front door did not open from inside without the key and all of the inside doors were also locked so there was no access to the back or ground floor windows. This meant my wife could not open the door so was effectively trapped in the house. The owner's only suggestion was to look for the key and he would not be home until midnight, this happened at 1pm. More than anything this was a huge safety concern. Luckily I did find the key a few hours later after retracing my steps and nothing happened but this is extremely dangerous.
