Kathy's Place at Sto Niño Cold Spring

The housekeeper was an absolute angel and she ended up washing and drying our clothes for us. The washing/twin tub spinner (not tumble dryer as advertised) is not self service as it states in the description, a reason why we had booked to stay for 4 nights at this particular place as backpackers. The location is overlooking the cold spring pools which is a beautiful, tropical amphitheatre, a 1-2 night place to stay Can see the massive potential for this place

You will need transport as the place is remote (we hired a scooter) therefore at night you would need to self cater and bring provisions with you. The kitchen is also a shared kitchen. If you are a lone traveller you could feel isolated and vulnerable at night as the building has not yet been fully completed and tho the location is active in the day with visitors to the spring and the stalls, this is totally quiet at night. There was an irritating tapping noise coming from the air con even when switched off it continued, luckily the room had an overhead fan which dulled the noise from the switched off Aircon.

I was a very pleasant stay because of comfortable and relaxing. If unlike nature then this is the place for u.

If u don’t have ur own transportation then it will be hard.

The shower could use a good cleaning Walls could use fresh paint or cleaning But still 10/10! Thank you
