Bali Asli Guest House by EPS

Me gustó el jardín exterior y la atención que el personal me dio a la hora de llegar al hotel, ofreciendome ayuda para cualquier cosa que necesitara. El ambiente es tranquilo y silencioso. La ubicación no es céntrica pero esta a unos 15min en moto por lo que me pareció bastante cómoda, aunque a veces costaba encontrar el alojamiento.

Los dueños no aparecieron por el alojamiento durante los días que estuve alojada por lo que al encontrarme con problemas con plagas de insectos y algunos otros problemas con "pequeños visitantes" no pude obtener una rápida respuesta por su parte. Esto hizo que mi experiencia fuera bastante incómoda. La colcha de la cama tenía algunas manchas y dentro de la cama me encontré hormigas. Estas fueron las cosas que mas me desagradaron. Sugeriría también colocar algun cartel o indicación fuera (ya que el alojamiento se encuentra entrando por un camino) para encontrar el alojamiento, ya que al ser de noche, a los conductores les costaba encontrar el alojamiento y yo no conseguía reconocer la calle.

I proprietari sono fantastici, ti fanno sentire come in famiglia. Posto pulitissimo e comodo per spostarsi a Ubud! Consigliatissimo

We stayed 3 weeks in Bali Asli Guesthouse in February – March 2025. If you want to experience a local Balinese neighborhood and meet a fantastic helpful family you must stay here! The spacious room and bathroom are quite new and perfect for a long stay because of the desk and cupboards. It has an air conditioner and also a refrigerator. It was great to have a little kitchen on the terrace. Here we cooked and enjoyed the view to plants, butterflies and birds in the garden. The family has a dog and two cats. After a short time, we were accepted by the pets. We love to shop in the local market and shops, but it is also possible to eat out in the neighborhood. The family who run the place are very kind and can help you with transport to Ubud Centre or everywhere else. They come every day to the guesthouse and answer whatsapp very fast. Great room, very clean and with A/C. The garden is fantastic, a lot of fruit trees and it’s such a nice setting to wake up to! Feels like a little peaceful oasis. Brand new bathroom, tea & coffee available, and the owners are the most helpful and nice people. We really felt welcomed and well looked after!

A bit far away from the main attractions to walk, but by renting a scooter or taxi it’s just next door.

Room was relatively clean (some surfaces needed dusting) and the bed was comfortable. There is a little kitchen with very basic utensils.

We were looking for a quiet and peaceful place to stay - this is not it! The neighborhood is full of people burning their trash (also their plastic waste) and that happened several times a day, every day. The surroundings are also very loud with roosters, dogs and paper thin walls so you can hear every word that is spoken in the room next door. No drinking water to refill your bottle provided (something that I expect at this price point - the plastic waste is already hierbei enough on Bali!). There is also construction work going on on the property that nobody told us about. Two days in a row things were done in our room without anyone giving us a heads up - a mirror was added to the bathroom but all the dust was just left there and our toothbrushes (that we did not put away because we did not know about the plan to do some work in our bathroom) were covered in dirt. There is also a communication problem - we had to wait over 30min for someone to unlock the gate for us on the day we arrived after the communicated time of arrival because the person we were in contact with had not communicated with his daughter… There is also a lack of privacy; I came out of the shower one morning just with the towel on and the owner insisted to talk to me and even came to the terrace - I had to run inside to escape this unpleasant situation. All in all not a place I would recommend. We ended up staying the two weeks we had booked the place due to me being very sick and unable to move and booking.coms terrible customer service.

I had a wonderful two-week stay in one of the rooms, complete with outdoor seating and a small kitchen—perfect for a relaxed getaway. The location offers a peaceful retreat just slightly removed from the bustle of Ubud, and it's easier to access with a bike. A big supermarket is just 10 minutes away, and there are small grocery shops all around. The hosts are incredibly friendly and always eager to assist with anything you need. I highly recommend this place for both short and long stays."

Can be sometimes a little bit noisy from the neighborhood but we get use to it.

i enjoyed my stay and extended for one more week. Nice outdoor place to enjoy for online working or leisure. Fantastic host. Very good internet connection. Very clean place.

The price/quality of this guesthouse is excellent. The owners are sper friendly and helpful and the bungalows are very clean. The location is great too: it is very quiet, yet still close to the busy-ness of Ubud's center if you want to dive into that.
