Skytower and City View 2 Bedroom Apartment on High Floor

Good location if you’re looking for downtown Auckland. Apartment was easy access, nice and clean and great view over the city.

The apartment would be good for 1 or 2 people but not for a family of 5. The extra bed was a really small, uncomfortable little stretcher. We ended up not using it because it was that bad, even for the kids. One of our kids slept on the couch. This might sound minor, but the floor had a little lip on it which meant we had toes stubbed on several occasions. One towel each was not enough for 3 nights.

This apartment is in a great location. The beds were comfortable.

This apartment has been our worst experience using Booking.com and has put me off using Booking.com in the future due to a lack of trust with this listing. The process prior to check in was stressful and poorly communicated. The host took out our damage deposit from the bank account listed with Booking.com without our permission instead of cash on arrival as advertised, this damage deposit still has not been reimbursed 2 weeks later with no explanation. The host has now become unresponsive on chat. The host insisted on ID being sent via email before arrival, it would have been good if this was outlined in the listing first to know what to expect as it did come out of the blue. The host kept saying in the days before check in that our check in information would be provided "shortly" but it took a couple of requests to get this and we were only given this late the night before. Regarding the apartment, the seal on the washing machine was dirty and mouldy and there was a lot of dust and dirt under the bed. The apartment also gets very very hot during the day, even in winter (there is no air-conditioning). You are only given one key for this apartment which makes things hard if there is more than one adult doing different activities.

Location was awesome only a 5 minute walk to the CBD. Beds comfortable as with pillows the self check in really easy to use. Balcony with a great view of sky tower was a nice touch

The view. The location. The willingness of the property manager to work with us on early arrival (for a fee). The building was nice, clean, and efficient.

No coffee maker!!!! seriously?! little things like wine glasses but no wine bottle opener. Just normal things that might go missing with a rental. but maybe do an inventory once in a while. no biggie but again, no coffee maker?!!!!

Right across the road from the Aotea Square for a show we were attending. Absolutely perfect for what we needed.

Great apartment, clean and all the home comforts you need! It is in a fantastic location, right in the centre of town with immediate access to all the amenities of the city!
