Quite busy street, drivers like to speed during the night. Can't sleep with open window. With the windows closed, it's bearable.
BEWe booked for a stay. We were 2 adults it would seem that on Booking.com there was only one adult listed. However I had communicated with the owner immediately after we received the booking confirmation to enquire about the parking and he was made fully aware of the fact that there were two people coming. He had asked me for copies of our documents. About half an hour before arrival he contacted me in the car to say that he had a reservation for only one adult and that it was not possible for us to have the room despite the fact that the room booked was for three people. I wrote back to him and explained that we were a married couple and asked what we needed to do to sort out the problem. He wrote back and asked for an additional payment if €30 in cash. I told him I would give it to him. I then contacted Booking. Com customer service and they told me that as long as we hadn’t checked in then booking could be amended by contacting the owner to show two people and we shouldn’t have to pay any extra. By that time we were outside the property and so we decided to just go in and pay him. When I met with the owner I told him that I had contacted booking. Com and that I was told that I wouldn’t have to pay. To avoid any further hassle, we had been driving for 12 hours by then I gave him the€30. When he heard that I had contacted booking. Com he gave me € 10 back and said for pizza. The breakfast facilities were distinctly lacking we couldn’t use the coffee machine to make coffee and we left without eating breakfast
