West Beck House Darlington - Penthouse Double En-Suite

Clean and was in amazing condition, and landlord was very good

Notthing not to dislike

No breakfast provided. Location was ideal for our purposes. Also close to bus services. Room was comfortable with a large sofa.

Some maintenance required. Lighting in corridor leading to accommodation intermittent. One light in room not working. Shower temperature control too stiff to move (particularly with wet hands)! Wash basin plug also stiff. Despite extra instructions from the owner we were unable to get the towel rail to heat nor were we able to get programmes on the tv.

Nice room, and excellent value for money.

When I booked the property I specifically stated we had 2 adults and one child, this property came up. I stupidly assumed that the sofa in the photos was a sofa bed. Sadly it wasn't, thankfully I had taken the airbed so it was fine.

It was comfortable and had everything we needed . The staff were friendly and polite .

Don’t realise that the staff were in the same flat , next door . Good that they were on site though if needed .

Perfect stay room was perfect for a night away. My little boy loved the games.

Plus:- Good free parking, Quiet location, Good buses, Fridge, TV, Comparatively cheap, Good shower

Carpets need a good clean Black mould all around the shower tray and door surrounds Double bed good for one but 2 people just end up in the middle Shower was only just warm the 2nd morning Thin curtains, early wake-up call
