West Beck House Darlington - Penthouse Double En-Suite

Kind of strange having a room in someone’s flat, but it actually works! Thumbs up from me

The room was lovely and well equipped. The ensuite was also great. Parking was easy as was entry as the instructions sent were clear.

I didn't like that there was just one small bath towel and no hand towel. I have long hair and if I'd had to wash it this would have caused me a problem. Also, I felt the facilities were sparse e.g. only one teaspoon, one mug etc. Overall it is as great but I hated the 'nanny state' feel of the instructions telling me all the things I would be fined for... losing keys, causing damage etc. I think these things would be better covered in a welcome pack.

Parking space , had somewhere to sit as well as a bed, decent layout and size for me and my dog to stay the night for work. Bathroom clean and shower great, tv didn’t work properly but irrelevant to me as I had my Laptop. Price was very good for the accomodation,

Bit strange. Like a room within an apartment. Needs attention to detail. E. G missing light bulbs.

Such a cosy little bolthole. I felt so relaxed and at ease in the space, it was immaculate and the mattress was so comfortable! I did not want to get up! Thank you for such a lovely stay, much preferable to a generic hotel, and great price too. Instructions to access property were simple and provided by email the day of my stay, only met the host briefly and recieved a warm welcome. Seems like a lovely guy.

Easy to locate. Quiet when in the room. Clean and good communication.

Mattress was very well used; spent the night in the divot made by lots before me.
