Lovely place

Beautiful location with the river and the forest on your doorstep. Even though Mang Den is lovely everywhere, I felt instantly more tranquil at the farmstay. There is a kitchen for use and the rooms are very cosy. The fan is sufficient to keep you comfortable and it's cooler at night to sleep anyways. The hosts are friendly but speak no English, but that didn't prove to be an issue. Swimming the river was very fun and the SUP boards for use are an added bonus. Water filter for use too.

The location is tricky to get to but we managed to walk up and down just fine. But I recommend hiring a scooter in town and getting around that way, it's much easier! Plus the location is as much of a bonus as it is a slight disadvantage.

The staff and the owners were exceptionally friendly, helpful and really good hearted people, we loved them. They took us where the bus dropped us and brought to our room. We asked for a motorbike rental and it was immediately infront of our door. Trong invited us for a dinner with his wife and the other guests too, very kind of him. We had to leave 1 day early as our flight changed and he paid us 1 day rental money for the room and the bike straight back, without us asking for it. We really appreciated his friendliness and warm heartedness. Rooms are built on a land within pure Nature, there is a river right on the site which was awesome.

There was water leakage in the bedroom, which soaked our backpacks on the floor. And in the rainy season, it was really difficult to dry them. Unfortunately they couldn't solve the problem because I believe the water was coming from the ground. The wall connections to the ceiling have gaps, so when someone is smoking, all the smoke comes in your room. It would be good if they don't allow people (including themselves) smoking in the rooms or in front of the rooms where the porch is. The most important and heartbreaking thing was them not having garbage management. All the garbage was dumped in nature somewhere. As a suggestion, they could separate the waste as biodegradable, non biodegradable, and recyclables/up-cyclables. For cleaning rooms they could have separate broom for room floors from the broom they sweep the bones. Separate brush for toilet and bathroom sink. And especially in nature it is unnecessary to use synthetic airfresheners.

Homestay places at foothills. You are surrounded by the forest with a rivulet ahead. On moonlit night, I can see the reflection of its atop the rivulet. I can hear the whisper from the wind, the forest, crickets, fogs. These things make this homestay incredible. If you want to experience the pure of nature, no noise from modern life, this place is for you. Staffs here were generous and kindly. They invited me to join the party because I traveled solo, they worried that I was lonely.
