Alex was a very good host. He answered all my inquiries and was very flexible with check in and out. One our 2nd day the power went off in the whole apartment and the sweet lady living next door came to help us while waiting for Alex. It was something with the switch on the power box outside. Things like this can happen to anybody and anywhere so it was ok for us, no big deal it took maybe 10 mins to fix it. But Alex was very apologetic that he even offered us free aperitivo in the nearby restaurant. We didn't take advantage of this because accidents can happen. But it was very nice of him to offer! He also helped us in booking a taxi to the airport. The apartment was clean, it has everything you need. Extra pillows, sheets, towels are also there. What we love the most is the backyard where we can hang out in the evenings and take our morning coffees. We came to Italy and its hot--feels like 50*C! but the apartment comes with 2 wonderful air conditioner that made our stay much better. The location is a minute walk to the nearest beach club and maybe a 3-5 min. walk to the free beach. Mini market and coffeeshops are few mins. walk as well and supermarkets are about 10/15min. Bus stops are also near if you do not want to walk to the ostia station. It is near Fiumicino airport (only cost us 35eur!) It might look like the area is noisy/busy but it isnt. it gets quiet already by 7pm. You can sometimes here the music from the bar across the street if you are sitting in the backyard but thats it. You cant even hear the neighbors!

I think it is everywhere in Italy since it's summer but there are mosquitoes and fruit flies. Just make sure you have bug repellent with you.

Very clean, well ewuiped, easy going owner, walking distance to the center, to public beach and a lot of restaurants. Nice coffeebar just 1 minute away.

Nothing! Would be perfect with the cherry on top if the appartement would be in the first floor 🙏

The apartment was simple with two bedrooms, but accommodating. It was clean and in good shape when we arrived. The location is across the street from the beach. I was concerned about noise, but it was really very quiet. We were met by Alex, who showed us around and recommended a restaurant where he negotiated a discount.
