Island Suite, Old Town

I rented this apartment based upon the picture you see here. That is not the apartment I received. Once I got to here the owner came up to see what my problem was (my small apartment on the third floor was dark and wedged tightly between two buildings). He told me that if I wanted the larger apartment then I’d have to pay double. This was my graduation from sailing school and overlooking the harbour and lively street activity was in my plans or O never would have rented this. It was a classic bait and hook and I’ll argue it with booking.com as well as my credit card company. What a ripoff! And later I read about others similar experiences.

Perfect spot in the centre of the old town. Easy walk to everything……loved the close proximity to the swimming spots!

The apartment was a good size and very comfortable. It was very close to the Old Fort, a large park and the waterfront, as well as the old city. We had a small plumbing issue, which the hosts offered to fix straight away.

Our error - we thought from the picture that we were getting a balcony, but that was for the 2 bedroom apartment.

Great apartment, perfect location, clean and quiet

Spacious, comfortable and very clean. Great location. Had all the amenities I needed. Nikos was very welcoming and checked that everything was okay half way through my stay. Easy to contact.

I did not dislike the property. The reason for not giving 10/10 is I love a view and the apartment I had, as lovely as it was, lacked a view especially as I stayed for over a week.

Beautiful apartment, really comfortable bed, well equipped kitchen and an excellent location for exploring wonderful Corfu Town.

The balcony space was poor. No more than 2 persons could sit at a time. I wish that I was informed that the apartment was on the 2nd floor. steep/narrow stamps from. many years back.
