Apartment in Bairro Alto 2 - Lisbon Charm

The host met us 2 minutes from arriving, and was very fun ! Also a small bottle of wine and water left on the table to welcome us. Nice layout and the bathroom was a good size for the small apartment. Nice Juliet balcony to look out onto the street. Very central and convenient for cafes, restaurants, bars and local stores. A minute walk to the tram stop and 4 minutes to the metro - be sure to get off at Baixa-Chiado and not Rossio which we thought was closer (but is very uphill !)

Bathroom door doesn't quite close - needs a little trim. Given the location a bit noisy at night To be fair - the double glazing, then extra single glazing and wooden shutter doors cut down most of that.

Very noisy location. Double glazing didn't keep the sound out through the night. Facilities shabby. Bathroom/toilet off kitchen, unable to shut the toilet door. Large pot of cigarette ends on the balcony not emptied.

Central location, AC system

Very poor sound isolation, the apartment felt dark and humid, and the bathroom smelled like sewerage

The location was great for a first time visits to Lisbon, the linen was clean and the kitchen had coffee.

Apartment equipped with all you need for a short stay, well equipped kitchen. The host was very friendly and supportive. Apartment is very well located for discovering city center and enjoying night life in Lisbon.

Some street noise in late night due to location being a vibrant part of Lisbon.

Good communication, great location, good blockage of street noise (slept well), and comfortable bed.
