Excellent place to stay

My stay at Riviere Chateau was expectional, the accomodations exceeded my expectation. I would recommend the Chateau to any one visiting St Lucia. However I would suggest renting a car to fully enjoy all the activities the island has to offer.

Transport was a bit of a challenge on the island.

I loved the look and feel.of the place - very modern, cozy., clean and comfortable. The host was very accommodating and so pleasant. I had some personal issues and she did all she could to make me feel trustworthy and at ease. I will definitely stay there again.

The road to the property can be paved but it's in a New developing area so I think soon it will be. But I loved the security of gated parking.

It takes 20 minutes to get to the Rodnay Bay marina, so bring a taxi or a car rental

The apartment was clean, comfortable, and modern. The hosts were always available to attend to any of our needs and were happy to help arrange any tours or transport needed throughout our stay. For three weeks we had everything we needed and will definitely be booking with them again. 10/10.

The apartment offers a fully furnished and modern kitchen for self catering. Close attention has been paid to the finishing touches of the apartment to meet the needs of international guests. For example, dual power sockets to accommodate UK and US power adaptors, including USB ports to eliminate the need for power converters, I thought this was an excellent touch. The entire apartment was immaculately clean to the point where I was afraid to actually use anything through fear of messing the place up. You could literally eat your dinner in the bathroom! There are mosquito nets on all windows within the apartment and the apartment has air-conditioning units within the living area and bedroom. The apartment has a large bedroom with a huge wardrobe and a very comfortable large double bed. Extra bed linen was provided to give guests the opportunity to change and launder the original bedding. A very good and easy to use washing machine is provided and airer to dry your clothes. There's also a nice balcony with table and chairs to enjoy the beautiful St Lucia sunshine in the day or the lovely Caribbean breeze in the evening. Another thing to point out is during my stay I did not get one mosquito bite. This is due to the way the apartment has been built, all doors within the apartment have been sealed as to not allow any insects to gain access to the apartment, therefore the only guests at Rivière Chateau are of the human species. The apartment is completely secure with security gates all around the property, having said that the area is very quiet and peaceful I felt very safe in the area as a solo traveller. Beverley is an excellent and attentive host who left a lovely bottle of red wine and mangoes as a welcome gift upon arrival. Beverley kindly offered me a lift into town to get some groceries, and checked in with me throughout my stay to ensure that everything was okay. Rivière Chateau exceeded all expectations and I would highly recommend it. I'll be back.
