Urban oasis close to Bart, shops, restaurants in oakland

The location was perfect for my needs and lots of great restaurants within walking distance.

Even tho it was noted that the driveway was narrow, it barely accommodated my standard sedan. Fortunately street parking was available.

Très bien situé. Hyper lumineux. Confortable, cet appartement est parfait.

It’s a lovely unit with nice furnishing in an area of Oakland I felt safe to jog around. Thankfully it has a spot to park. Nicely provisioned household. I highly recommend!

Apartment was what we needed to visit family in the area. It was clean. We felt safe enough in the neighborhood. Parking on street, but be prepared to maybe have to walk from a block away (if one can't park in back).

Bed in master bedroom was a foam bed. We just dont like foam beds. The parking around the back is down a narrow driveway and we were in a rented van so we didn't park in back because we were afraid to scratch the van on the hedge. I wish the bushes would be trimmed back more. The air conditioning was just a small unit in one of the bedroom windows. It was a little warm the first day we were there. Thankfully, it cooled off at night. A bath mat would be nice as the bath was slippery. The rug in big bedroom needs to be cleaned.

The place is in an excellent location in Oakland, 30-40 min away from SF by car (depending on traffic). It is a very large apartment, it can easily fit 4-6 people. The neighborhood is very quiet and residential, we felt very safe. It also has private free parking behind the building (very narrow driveway, be careful if you have a large SUV). Very good and value for money stay. Recommended.

The building is quite old and there was a persistent smell (some sort of pet?). Some of the kitchen appliances are dated (we did not use them though). The bathroom is OK, you might have some problem with water escaping the shower curtain, but other than that, all good.
