City Centre Self-Contained Studio Apartments

The place was clean and in good condition. Location is central enough and has three very nearby carparks that can be used. Host was very prompt in sending the access information 24hrs before check in. Check in website is very easy to use as well.

The bed was missing screws and was very noisy, we slept very badly because of this. Parking in the area is not free, is permit holders only or up to 2hrs max therefore the information needs updating. Bathroom sink needs unblocking.

There where rats and cats fighting at night some animals living under the house garbage outside all over, no garden view what’s so ever don’t recommend this house.

The rooms were clean

The curtain at the window didn’t fit properly and was ineffectual against daylight so we were woken early. Our room was next to the laundry room and there was a washing machine operating all through the night. Even though the room had a kitchenette, there was nowhere to sit apart from the beds and we had be told that we weren’t allowed to eat on them under any circumstances. The room was not comfortable to spend any real time in apart from sleeping, showering and changing and, even then, the beds hadn’t been put together properly so they felt like they would fall apart at any moment and they creaked every time we moved. The very thin pillows provided were lumpy too. The street the property was on, although within easy walking distance of the centre was run down and dirty and we didn’t feel entirely safe. The room smelt funny. It may have been because the wheelie bins were right outside our window!!

All is good but ..

The entrance door does not open until someone comes from inside and opens the door and Some of the neighbors told the house owner that I was annoying

Self contained 1 bed appt in Central location. No sofa in lounge but can watch TV ftom the bed!.. Could do with some garden space , outside :) Able to use communal washing and iron facilities- but couldn't find an ironing board...

Heating didn't work at start. But sorted out quickly. No parking for longer than 2 hrs adjacent to property. . Problems with WiFi connection re storms. Very very loud noisy neighbors upstairs... always after 10pm and can hear all conversation and shouting...not ideal for a quiet break near the city...

That it had laundry and fridge. Mostly missing in uk properties

The heavy doona in summer with no sheet or extra pillows. The garden view was just stinging nettles and weeds. And the fact that there was no regular free to air tv.

Great location. Easy to find and parking was easy in the area. Also walkable to and from the town centre and shops.

The bed needs to be fixed. The attachments are fitted backwards which results in an unstable structure so I didn’t get a great night’s sleep during my stay unfortunately. Bedding/ towels were not the cleanest and also the property itself didn’t feel very safe. The front and back doors were both open throughout the night, and despite me locking them, they were both open again by the morning. This also resulted in a lot of flies/insects in the property.
