The setting by the lake is fantastic.

The use of space could be so much better. No attention to the outside space at all. Could be so much better.

We enjoyed the cosiness of the cabin once we got the fire going. It was located in a lovely farm and had we stayed longer we would have had a look around. I can see that in the summer this would be a stunning little getaway. Our host was very helpful and delivered some extra newspaper to us to start fire. The cabin was new so everything was super up to date and very clean.

We stayed here in the winter and it was very cold and rainy. We appreciate that the hosts cannot control the weather but....the noise of the rain on the roof along with the bits of tree falling on it kept us awake all night. Once the fire had died down, we were really cold in the middle of the night. I wouldn't recommend staying in the winter. Spring/summer would be stunning though. It was a long way from any facilities so you do have to drive to get a meal. Ibwould also recommend a little shelf on one side of bed for phone/book/glass of water.

Very modern accomodation, with a nice outlook. The kitchen had everything to be self sufficient. Good gas cooking facilities. Lovely shower. Very private with good off street parking. Very comfortable bed. Lovely hosts with great communication

It had a very modern little fireplace, but no wood provided, or instructions regarding use, or notes to advise not to use. Maybe not considered cold enough. There was a little electric heater available for use.

Quiet location next to lovely pond and surrounded by trees. Super comfy bed and great selection of hot beverages plus lovely touch of fresh eggs on arrival
