Comfort Breather - El Laurel

De mooie ligging in Albayzin!! Eigenlijk was alles op loopafstand. We zaten midden in een sfeervolle buurt. Hele vriendelijke en behulpzame verhuurder!

Het appartement was in een souterrain, een paar kleine raampjes voor daglicht. Daar stond tegenover dat er een terras voor ons was in de tuin en een zwembadje.

Everything was good and enjoyable

The location is superb, and the host is very friendly, responsive, and able to help. It is quiet, far away from vehicle noise, and the garden is beautiful. Granada is a wonderful location to explore.

The description contained what I can describe as a misrepresentation. The apartment is a basement apartment with no sunshine, no outlook, and very little daylight. The door pictured on the site is not the entrance door to the apartment but a door situated in the garden. Access to the garden involves climbing two flights of stairs. A washing machine is available at extra cost, which is also misleading in the description.

The cosy apartment is at a great location in Albaicin. Rafael, the owner, is so helpful and responsive. He welcomes you in the apartment and shows you around. The kitchen has everything you need to cook (there was even a very good olive oil) The apartment is equipped with an AC and a heater. The TV is huge and there are even some board games.

It is hard to say but if I have to say one thing is that the bathroom is a little bit small.

Host was wonderful - very responsive to anything that came up. Location was great, and garden was lovely. Kitchen had what we needed.

Some of the things included in the listing are “add-ons” - there’s a washer/dryer but it costs a little (only €5) to use it for the day, same with the pool. Nothing terrible, just be aware

Instructions were clear on how to find property, what to do once you arrived, and information on pool bbq given before arrival. Rafael, a warm and lovely person, greeted us. He gave plenty of information on our stay. Checked throughout our stay if we needed anything. The property was in the basement. It was big enough for 2. There are cooking facilities such as hob and microwave (would have liked an oven but this is personal choice). The bed for me was perfect, It is a hard mattress which I loved. Also extra pillows which was a big thumbs up. There is a lovely seating area (up some steps) There is a lovely pool area. (You have to book) This was not a problem for us. The property is near restaurants, cafes, and food shops. The buses are plentiful. We did not use these. We have been to the area 3 times now. If we do ever come back, we would stay here. We would highly recommend staying. Especially because Rafael would look after you.

The shower last couple of days did overflow. The only mirror is in the bathroom a mirror in main room would have been great. Minor things really.
