Sheel Mahal- Near Hawa Mahal

Location, central for sightseeing and shopping. The property is also about 40 m away from the buzzing street and we could not hear any street noise in our room

Very limited hot water - only for one person shower

The rooms by themselves were good. The staff was also helpful. The hotel is centrally located close to the market place. Food was decent including the breakfast spread.

Terrible property location. While it is within the main market area, the approach road to the actual hotel property is very dirty and unhygienic. It is a wonder that a hotel even exists among the rubble of so many shops & businesses.

Very well situated boutique hotel close to the Hawa Mahal, however in a bizarre back-street.

The rooms are over-decorated and wardrobes are missing. Some rooms don’t have any windows. Very badly isolated so you hear everything that is happening in the hallways and stairways.

Great location (when you find it), friendly staff, big room with a terrace. It was quiet, even though it was just 50 meters from the main road.

Just a minor thing: You have to pre-order breakfast the evening before and also specify the time (the breakfast is delivered to the room). I rarely have a fixed wake-up time when I'm on vacation, so that wasn't the best fit for me.

Just some small things: No breakfast room inside, so only options are the rooftop (too could now) or sitting on your bed (no table or chairs in the room) Entry is through a narrow, dirty street, not easy to find. Also you have to carry your trolley because it's too dirty to use the wheels Many stairs (but staff helps you with your bags). So not suited for people with limited mobility Location on booking is not correct, ask for correct directions when booking

This was our lash out hotel room and it was lovely and comfy and clean. Location is a few mins walk to Hawa Mahal, and is at the start of the small lanes of the market. Nice rooftop with tables as well.

It was all good!

Great location very near to Hawa Mahal, City Palace and Jantar Mantar. Good breakfast, which you need to order in advance. We also had a nice balcony in our room. No elevator, but staff helps with lifting the luggage.

During out stay it was very poor wi-fi, they tried to change it but without good result. The water in the washbasin didn't drain. The way to the hotel from the main street is little scary (150m) from the first sight of the travellers who have not been in India before.

Nice hotel just in the centre of old town and close to the main sightseeing places. Very helpful staff, nice rooftop terrace for breakfast and dinner.
