Heaven's View B&B Mcleod Ganj

Hot water in the shower was good. The view from the balcony was nice and I could see the sunrise every morning. Staff was very kind and helpful. The room was clean.

The location is not the best if you want to spend the evening in McLeod Ganj. I was fine walking to McLeod Ganj every morning ( short cut through the Kora circuit) but the evening was more problematic. Taxi was only 300 rupees.

An absolutely incredible room. If you can get it, you must book it. Just wow. The views are just incredible. Yesterday morning, we laid in bed watching the monkeys playing in the trees outside. Honestly, just book it. I think this room has made it hard to book another room for the rest of our holiday. It's been so lovely staying there. There are really lovely places to eat within a really short distance. The main centre with lots of shops and the Dalai Lama's temple are only a short (but steep) walk away and there are always lots of taxis passing. The room is clean and comfortable. The service was lovely. They even left toothbrushes and toothpaste. The staff were very attentive and even walked to our restaurant to collect something from us. In conclusion, this therefore it would seem: this room is available and if you don't mind steep but entirely manageable hills BOOK IT! I promise you will be as sad as we are to have to drive away.

Absolutely loved my stay here! The room was clean and cozy, but the real highlight was the view — worth every single penny. It was so stunning and peaceful, I genuinely didn’t want to leave. Everything about the experience felt just right, and I only wish I could have stayed longer.

One thing to keep in mind is that the place is a but away from main city

The B&B is run by a very beautiful family. They are very helpful and very caring. The family run business looks right onto the mountain view you see, and sunrises over the mountain and bird song are fantastic. They are right beside a great cafe and removed from the hustle and bustle of the town further up.
