Misthill Rest - Lavish Villa

Wir waren dort nur für eine Nacht, weil wir am nächsten Morgen sehr früh zu den Horton Plains aufbrechehn wollten. EIn Frühstück togo wäre uns angeboten worden. Leider hat es in Strömen geregnet und wir haben vor Ort gefrühstückt. Sowohl das Abendessen am Abend davor als auch das Frühstück waren hervorragend und mehr als üppig! Auf meine Glutenunverträglichkeit, die ich im Vorfeld angefragt hatte, wurde problemlos eingegangen. Die Gastgeber waren so herzlich und freundlich! Die Unterkunft selbst ist etwas außerhalb von Nuwara Eliya gelegen, ein Auto / Fahrer ist notwendig. Die Umgebung ist nicht sehr einladend. Die Zufahrt ist steil und bei Regen matschig, aber machbar. Die Unterkunft ist sauber, die Zimmer geräumig. Es dauerte etwas, bis warmes Wasser kam. Für einen Stoppover auf dem Weg nach Ella auf alle Fälle eine empfehlenswerte Unterkunft, alleine schon wegen der netten Gastgeber!

Hotel abbastanza accogliente, personale gentilissimo, alloggio anche per gli autisti. Avevamo freddo e ci hanno dato una stufa elettrica per togliere l'umidità della stanza

Le foto su Booking sono poco veritiere perché la struttura è decisamente meno bella....la cena piuttosto deludente ed anche la colazione piuttosto basica.

The property is clean, spacious and the amenities are modern. It’s a quaint hotel with minimal rooms. The staff are friendly, accommodating and want to provide you with whatever you need to make your stay a good one. Breakfast is by order and whatever changes you require they arrange. The rooms are large, the bathroom has a shower and the hot water and pressure are good. The owner and main guy was beyond helpful and extremely nice 😊

The WiFi constantly dropped out and we were without wifi most nights. The walls between the rooms are quite thin and you can hear almost everything, even what’s happening downstairs.
