Several months ago, I booked the following property via Booking.com: — advertised as 4 stars, rated 8.6, 100 m², 2 bedrooms (one with 2 beds, one with 3 beds), attractive photos, at approx. €360 per night. Actual situation upon arrival: Property in unacceptable and unsafe condition: dirty, broken, strong foul odor, mold, insects, water leaking from refrigerator and boiler. Size is maximum 50 m², not 100 m² as advertised. Only one bed in one tiny bedroom; the “second bedroom” is in fact an attic with 4 beds The contact number provided belongs to a woman running a beauty studio in Riga, entirely unable to help The host obviously added this terrible property to 2 houses which he is renting since 1-2 years (the same address) and deceiving people. We informed local police. Booking.com is not helpful
