NOIR GOLD PENTHAUSE - Szeged

The location of the apartment is amazing, it's far enough from the "downtown" area to be sufficiently quiet, but literally less than 100 steps from a tram station. There is a convenience store in the next building to stack up on supplies for the stay. The interior was spotless, and almost dazzlingly spacious. It is the penthouse of a recent development (on Google Maps's 2022 imagery, the site was still under construction) and thus very modern. The kitchen was fully equipped, which was a nice touch even though we did not cook at all, apart from toasts, as there are lots of eateries around the city. I'm a heavy sleeper and a heavy snorer, and yet, my colleague was unbothered in the other room, which goes to show that the soundproofing is top-notch as well. The mattress and the provided linen were very soft, and I was refreshed even with only 5-6 hours of sleeping. Oh, and there is a spacious and heavenly comfortable angled bathtub in the bathroom. The photos of the murals were a bit scary at first, but it's easy to get used to them, on the third glance, you won't even notice anymore. Everything is modern and flashy, but not in a "too much" way. There is a nice and spacious balcony, which we only used as a drying rack for our towels, because it was 42° outside throughout the day, but it surely will be amazing to be out there in the winter!

The walk-in shower and the bathtub are in the same (large) bathroom, the second bathroom is a small sink and a toilet. Which means that two people can not shower at the same time unless you are comfortable showing off to each other naked. Also, the hot water comes from an electric water tank, which is very easy to deplete if you enjoy long showers or a very, very warm bath. But it's fine if you keep this in mind and schedule your day with this knowledge.
